A holiday home buyer from the UK has spoken positively of his recent investment in Turkey.
Bernard Tomlinson has bought a three-bedroom detached villa in Kalkan for £325,000 with his wife Ann.
Speaking to the Telegraph, the Cheshire-based couple said they plan to visit their new property occasionally throughout the year and rent it out for the rest of the time.
They will be able to benefit from Turkey’s lifestyle attractions as well as a potentially lucrative investment.
Commenting on his recent acquisition, Mr Tomlinson said: Turkey offers great value for money.
He added that planning restrictions are in force in Kalkan, which means local authorities will not allow the area to become overdeveloped.
This comes after ShelterOffshore.com predicted a positive outlook for the Turkish housing market, since its growing tourist market meant that more prospective property buyers would be arriving in the country this year.Reday2invest.co.uk reported
