Head on Collision on Akbuk Didim Roads
One man was injured and another is critically ill in hospital after a head on collision on the Akbuk Didim Altinkum Road in the village of Denizkoy. The driver of Silver Volswagen Passat was swerving to avoid a holes in the road when he crashed head on in to a Renault Toros coming in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Silver Volswagen Passat is belived to be a holiday maker from Mugla and is currently in Didim Hospital in critical condition.
The other driver a local business man from Akbuk, medical attention given by Local Jandarma at scene of the accident in Denizkoy. The road was closed by Local Jandarma for a hour while the scene was examined by traffic experts.

This is the same road which claimed 5 deaths in one year as locals are still waiting for the council to make it safe as it is deamand very dangerous due to the amount of large holes in the road.
