Goldtrail left to Police
According to a recent report, the downfall of the tour firm Goldtrail, is creating panic among the airline passengers in the UK and Turkey. Goldtrail provides trips to its customers to Greece, Turkey and other destinations. More than 16,000 tourists were stranded at the airport due to the collapse of the topmost travel Company in the UK.
As a result, all the departure flights had been cancelled and this has acted as a spoil sport for the plans of many tourists. The Company had reportedly gone into administration on Friday and the customers had to wait for nine hours before this development was conveyed to them.
They were earlier told that the flight would be late and cancelled. Many people didnt know what happened while they was on holiday in Altinkum Turkey and didnt had much money to support their flights back to UK.
Experts are of the view that in the remaining summer months, the collapse will impact around 50,000 people. In the wee hours of yesterday morning, 180 passengers were stranded at the Glasgow Airport.
These people were heading towards Altinkum Bodrum Airport, which is a holiday resort in Turkey. Things became clear at around 1 am, when they were informed about the cancellation of the flight. More worse for who was in Turkey already because didnt know if they would go back home with same flights.
There was another flight at 9.30am yesterday and its passengers also faced similar circumstances. However, the administration has disclosed that all the passengers will get back the amount that they had invested in the travel package of the Company. Local police has been called to some hotels and sort out pasaport issues due bills.
However British newspapers reported that some Civil Aviation Authority will take care of it everyone for those who is on holiday already and make sure they get back home safely.
