Akbuk Turkey
Along the waters edge against a beautiful mountainous backdrop you will find the town of Akbuk. Here you can choose a spot along the water to sit back and take in the breathtaking scenary, the water is clear and the weather hot as you dine on the waters edge. Akbuk has a small centre with just a few local shops however it is also the home to the holiday resort hotel which boasts a number of facilities such as a sauna, fully equipped gym, outdoor pool, tennis courts and its own selection of hotel shops. Across the bay of Abuk peeping out of the mountain you will see the village of Denizkoy which I am particulary fond of as it is my home town.
Denizkoy is a typical traditional turkish village where you will catch the smell of fresh homemade bread and see the occasional tractor going about its daily business. The view from the village is one of green mountains and clear blue sea stretching out as far as the eye can see.
Akbuk is located between mountains and green forest and clear blue waters of Agean coast near Altinkum Didim and really quiet and peaceful place small holiday resort. Akbuk is conviniently situated between Altinkum and Bodrum highways and only 70 km from Milas Bodrum Airport. Akbuk has become a rising trend on Real Estate Property, Villas industry with its nature as well as its history.
It used to be a small town where all fishermen caught delicious fishes like seabass, but now it is a rapidly growing tourism resort with its holiday complexes with five star hotels, villas and well as summer houses, small harbour, hotels.
Akbuk became a township in 1991 and sperated from Altinkum Didim and classed as a Fevzi Pasa on the maps some times. Clean roads, beautiful and very calm beaches welcome you to Akbuk as it is an ideal resort for those who love quiet times alongside water sports. Many people who come here from big cities decide to stay here after their retirement this includes Turks, British, French and Germans.
It has been explored not by tour operators in recent years but the economy related tourism in recent years has made available the localfishermen’s boats for boat trips along the coasts of Akbuk for the duration of the summer months.
Mainly become popular with investment and property development companies. Between Akbuk and Didim you will see lovely quiet village Denizkoy and Uslu Sitesi with Sahte Cennet beach which is very busy full all the summer with local people along with holiday makers. Denizkoy Villas become very popular recent years with new property laws in 2008 in Turkey.
